I made another thing for my dashboard yesterday. It's a little housing for the 3 warning lamps that i'll be using. It's designed to fit in one of the spare gauge holes in my Broadspeed dash and will have the face painted black so it matches the rest of the Smiths gauges. The bezel is from an actual Smiths gauge that i had lying about.

It's quite rough at the moment and i need to hit it with some fine sandpaper to clean off the machining marks. But i'm sure you get the idea.

The drawings i did for this thing and the switch panel i showed in a post a few pages back.

Molina love your work. but I'm interested what additional switches you are putting In. Also interested in the width of the panel to fit as no over all dimension but everything else is perfect with your tech drawing. I noticed you have a push start in the centre, How you doing the IGN

The dimensions of my switch panel are identical to the original one. The switches are much closer together, that's how i could fit the extra couple in.

I drew the decorative bezel to show how it will fit in relation to the existing hole in the dash.

I will have 2 spare switches until i install the thermo fan, after which i will have only one spare. I was mainly looking for that aeoplane look whereby you have a massive array of switches so it looks far more technical that it actually is.

Headlights, wipers, fuel pump, interior lights, cooling fan, spare.

There's a key switch for the ignition on the dash near the other gauges. There was already a hole for something that size, so i put it there.

Just a note... The overall dimension is shown on the drawing. 242mm. The spacing and diameters of the holes are also shown so you can easily determine how wide the actual switch area is.

There's a rule on another forum I frequent regarding New Stuff: "Pics, or it didn't happen." :)
