Picked up my new braided brake hoses and rear brake lines I had made up by the local brake shop.
Great job! Very happy.
The brake lines are in stainless pipe as the guy thought I needed the bling to match the braided hoses. :) :)
Fitted the brake lines and hoses onto the rear subframe and played around with the rear wheel bearings again.
Slowly progressing with the rear subframe rebuild.

Cleaned the car inside and out including the engine bay, checked the oil, radiator, brake fluid levels as well. need to look at some new tires and a new exhaust (according to the uni sound level meter, its 110 db at 4000rpm)

Nice and shiney now
Then brought it home ready for the next phase, assembly

Piss farted about with the three guage bracket - got it in place under the dash - took it out to mount the gauges - just about to solder all the pos and neg wires into one run for each to power the lights in them when I realise I'd be stuck if I had to take them out - put that aside and picked up where I left off on the headlight relays - oh thats right I need the bullet connectors - could use those on the gauge lights as well - now I saw those last week .......... an hour later I gave up looking and put the garbage out.

I Karchered the 2 hydro frames for the van, then stripped the front one.
And had a couple of beers for fathers day. :P

repaired the original interior light fitting with a bit of epoxy putty and after shapeing gave it a coat of white paint. fitted an exhaust pipe clamp fitting to the junction between the 3-1 extractors and the RC40 pipe (supplied one didn't fit and I kept forgetting to pick up one till last weekend)
Started digging out under the house to make an area to park (and work on) the Moke currently out in the weather. If you have have some hard ground to dig I can recommend a big SDS hammer drill that can be set to hammer only with a 400mm demolition bit - makes a good jack hammer
