I have purchased the export mike also will pick up Thursday night.

Will post pics friday

Aww 61 850 really?

And you're going to turbo it..?

:(

Its his car let him do what he likes. Whats wrong with turboing and modifying a 61' 850? Its nice to have granny spec examples but its also nice to see the other extreme. I say go for it baracade

Thanks for your opinion

He can do what he wants
Just like I can express my opinion if I want.

61 850's are pretty few and far between, seems a shame.

I guess if he doesn't want to find something more common, then go for it.
Just makes everyone elses worth more.

So are you restoring or turboing the 850?

Same question to the moke.

61 850 is not a matching numbers car.
I already turned down 2 850's that were matching numbers.
The 850 is going to be a conversion project.

The moke will be turned into a hot a-series everyday warrior.

Not having a go at all adam so dont worry :D
I just think one mans interpretation of there perfect mini is completly different to another man idea of a mini. And thats one of the brilliant things that sir alec did he made the mini so it coud be easily modified. And every single one of them has there own little personal touch and that makes them unique
