If your referring to the flexible brake lines and the one to the clutch slave....yeah it's one of those items on the list. The clutch line I'm tempted to get the braided line that fits to both A & A+ slaves as the A+ will be going in evertually. The brake lines I might just bit the bullet & get a braided kit now too!

Cheers Shane

I am not a fan of braided hoses on road cars.
The reason is that all hoses deteriorate with age but you will be more likely to chuck out ten year old rubber hoses than ten year old braided hoses because they still look good on the outside.

Good to their promise, I picked up my head from the shop with oversize guides fitted. Looks purdy, all naked cast iron  Now to etch prime, paint and refit it! It's been 4 or 5 months since I drove the Mini, I'm itching to get back into it now!

Picked up a box full of trim rubbers for my mini plus picked up the pedals I had powder coated.
Fitted the pedals and pedal box back into the car.
Slow and steady :)

fitted OA6 needle, runs much nicer now... just have to figure out a way to attach accel cable to throttle linkage without the use of abutment plate...

See that's why I like HS6s, you shove an OA6 needle in and it'll run on just about anything!

BTW I think this needle is original for a Healey 3000..

Speaking of HS6 needles can someone convert a BDM swinging needle to fixed and see what it looks like.
I have three carbies and they all have that needle.

Just looked it up, I think it has similar specs to a 3" nail.

Found why it stopped - ceased distributor?!
Replaced with an electronic distributor and a new coil. Runs like a dream (thx miniimports!).

Why/how would a distributor cease - was cranking around with the engine but take it out and try and move it by hand - no go!

Put the new centrecap in the steering wheel, not sure why, I'm probably going to go a leather one fairly soon, but it felt good to do something! Even it did only take 10 seconds :)
