While trying to NOT hit my head on the bonnet catch  i removed all the spark plugs and gave them a wire brush clean, adjusted the idle screw as it was stalling, also just gave it a general check over and cleaned the engine/bay.
Tomorrow ill start cleaning it ready for MINIFEST on sunday.

Replaced the voltage regulator and also the plastic bush in the remote housing.

Lot's of bits and pieces ordered that will make for a busy Friday evening.

Now to get the wipers & horn working.

Took out full comprehensive insurance for $600 a year! That's the cheapest it's ever been for me, even with all the mods declared! :D

Oil & filter change.

& discovered I have NGK D7EA plugs in that I don't seem to own a socket that fit over them.

Not tody but a couple of weekends broke my crank when driving around phillip island  :( this is gunna be an interesting rebuild... Poor little 1098 lasted well. It was an ex KG motor and had a few things done to it. Had a very hard life even before we got it. P plater before us told us it had seen close to 8000 rpm. It had seen 8500 rpm once with us because of a jammed acelarator pedal. Been khana'd over the past 3 years and i guess the track day just killed it. Still deciding which way to go when i rebuild it. Start with the other 1100 motor i have here or to rebuild this one.

I went through the Gorge to Ivan’s today. I noticed some nice fresh rubber on the tight hairpins and though Humm, Adam must have been through recently
