Check the seal on the top of the reservoir , brake fluid is hydroscopic and if the seal is split and has been for while and you recently drove in the rain you may have to change all the fluid as any moisture in the system will cause corrosion

( I,m probably telling you what you already know but I,ll post it anyway :) )

as for where your fluid is disappearing to IHKFI

sounds like it been leaking for a while if you knew it needed topping up. But atleast you found out while at low speed. check the brake pedal as most of the time it runs down the peddle. Inside the wheels & tyres but other wise its getting in and having a real good look.

Check the pipe joints under the clutch cover area for leaks. It could leak there and you wouldn't notice since there's a hair dryer in the way
