I think Big Al is having metallurgical relations with a Moke and is trying to fit 15inches under the guard

Finally cleaned out the rusty right hand fuel tank and then poured a special tank repai epoxy inside to provide a nice clean coat over the rust. Seems to have done the trick :)
Then I tried to fit the tank but found the PO was out with their measurements for the holding strap :?
So now I am looking for the correct fitting kit, will ring around tommorrow or order online as I need a few other bits and pieces

Well today I had to rewire the instrument panel connector plug, replaced the pcb, installed an oil pressure gauge and had to replace my speedo cable.. But over the last couple of days I made some new seat frames to install my cobra classics.. And tomorrow hopefully if my new auxiliary ventiris turn up I can rebuild and install my carbi.. And finally drive my mini!!

Cranked the badass 1360 over on the floor to get oil pressure up (it's been asleep in the corner for the last 18 months whilst the 1412 stroker has had a run).
1360 with its 3.647 diff is going back in the `wasaMatic' this week- another 10+ HP and up to 8000 rpm, yippee! :P

Yesterday - Pulled the twin tanks out for further modification - Enlarging the hose linking them to 20mm ID & changing the return-line inlet angle so it's not pointing directly at the inside of the fuel cap! Removed the holed LHS inner CV boot to get replaced.

Just got back from Canberra where I just picked up some Moke side panels and a Moke fuel tank. Happy days!
