Spent a few hours getting the paper work sorted and finally obtaining the rego.
All set to go now, just need a wheel alignment and tune and to put the supercharger back on. :) :)

Fixed for you!

Congrats by the way, fantastic effort!

I took my 29D distributor off to be recurved, and I had a repro Mk1 S 23D distributor sitting aside for another engine....so I swapped them out to see if it worked (which it does). Very good value at a smidge over 100 dollars including electronic points and cap..

Not today but the weekend:

Finished my new air compressor stand/weather proof enclosure behind the shed then tested it out by doing some wore wheel on the die grinder action. Cleaned up all the moke's valves and some others I'm storing then had a go at the carbon on the moke's head and an 1100s head I've got. Very quick with the die grinder and glad I had a face shield, it probably spins a bit faster than those little wire wheels are designed for

I never realised how out of balance a triple cylinder compressor is until it was sitting up on the steel frame with a bit of flexibility!

Worked out that the carby to manifold studs I ordered are too big. The HS2 studs are bigger diameter to the HIF6 ones. Now I need more.

Gave the old dishwasher a workout with some greasy old parts. It takes the oil off but doesn't get through baked-on stuff. I put all my engine fans through a cycle but they still need a good scrub whereas a bunch of head and rocker studs came out spotless.

Wheel aligned 2 Minis with a tape measure. Probably still not quite right, but much better than the 10mm and 4mm toe-out they had.

Nothing too exciting. Some Minilifes with A008s, so they fit under the guards a bit better with no flares.
