Drove the mini for the first time with the Supercharger fitted
I'm hooked
Just need to sort out the stupid condensation in the inlet manifold which causes problems in traffic :(

Don't you just love his workmanship? I got one of his ignition kits and it was oem quality.

Trying to work out what the bits are. The black button for the blower clutch is just the ducks guts! The welding is superb!!

Overhauling an HS6 for a bloke, took the new throttle shaft WZX1178 out of the packet and the damned 1-3/4" butterfly won't fit in it. Slot in it is only 41mm wide.
Either the shaft maker effed up, or its an HS4 one with the wrong label.
Might have to get the needle files out and put my glasses on...

broke an engine steady bolt off in the head (drivers side one) :( got the passenger side steady on then found i cant put the coolant hose on because the nut is in the way :( so now waiting for some gaskets to arrive so i can space the thermostat housing up a bit to clear the nut :(:( guess it wont be running again this weekend, oh and found out the passenger side brake hose has a blockage in it so have to get a new one of those too :(

Put in the front windscreen and continued on with the woodwork. Also realised that there's no way to reuse the vinyl off the door cards, so have to rethink my plans on that.

Aligned the boot and bonnet so the gaps are much more even. Test drove it to ensure all was well. Flushed the engine and adjusted the thermo fan. Test drove it to ensure all was well. Put on new boot lid straps and realigned the steering wheel. Test drove it again.

Picked up a rotisserie thanks again Marcello, wire wheeled the bondo on my car covering some nice bumps and bruises. Started unbolting the subframes, with any luck she'll be spinning on a horizontal axis tomorrow.

Bought him some "new" front brakes - thanks Harley. The 8.4" discs should offer a bit more bite than the current 7.5s.

Just need to spend the time getting them on now. :)
