Cut up clubman number 406 with 123 grosso it's gone to mini heaven now. Now to cut the 61 or 62 850 up so I can make room for the new project/s :) couldn't be happier!

Finally got around to making an adjusting bracket for the alternator to tighten the belt. :)

My Minispares order has been shipped.

I had 44 individual part numbers to pick and pack and every single one was in stock. Love that.

That's order #2 of probably 3 total for the 850 body and Moke refresh. I think there will be 1 maybe or two more to go for the 850's 1100S power unit depending on what I decide to do with it.

I'm keeping them just under the $1000 threshold.

How many times did you have to refill the washer bottle to do the whole car?

It’s alive!! :D :D :D

(I gave up on the pulsar dizzy, couldn’t get spark, so bought another and replaced the module, still no good, tried bench testing, nothing)

So threw in the ole points one and amazingly she started the very first press of the button!! Very surprising, because it hasn’t been kicked over for years.

Now I need to try tune it up, I even splashed out on a timing light yesterday (not that i have ever used one before or know how), so i’ll do some searching on here to work it out, shouldn’t be too hard.

Hi Kevin,
Is lightening and balancing a task you always complete for your new projects? I am tempted just to get my motor going back together but am trying to be patient and plan to lighten the flywheel and then get the harmonic balancer, crank and flywheel dynamically balanced.

For a general road car which I hope to have enough power to be punchy when I needed but cruise along nicely also is this something that is recommended :?
