Yes I had it happen this week. Was driving along @ 90kmh or so, car missed a few beats, tacho needle wavered a little... it came good, then did it again shortly after.
*aha!* sez he, it's a primary ignition circuit fault.
Stopped car and checked coil connections, all were tight (mine are screwed on, not spade lugs).
Electronic Pulsar dizzy, can't be points. Must be something else..
Turned out to be the lower (switched) fuse in the fuseblock.
When you turn the ignition on, the switch sends 12V+ to this fuse- all the switched fuse items
including ignition, stop lights, blinkers run through that fuse. In my case it wasn't blown- just a little dirty. I rolled it about a bit and it's been fine since.
Will remove fuses and clean fuseblock contacts tomorrow...
