 Post subject: Door hinges

Do all 4 door hinges have to be different or can some of them be the same , talking about the markings UR ,LR , LL , UL ,.

They are all different but I don't think all were marked.
Top hinges are angled in at the top edge, bottom ones are angled out (but much less) at the top edge...

If they do not have UR, LR, Etc they will have other Markings such as numbers, that indicate where the fit

My Last Reply may have been a little short sorry about that, However it is very Important that the correct hinges are used in there places

I would add it is also important that the top hinges have the special angled alloy washers on, if not the door skin deforms when you tighten the nuts up.

Kev is Spot on, You should also have a Big Thin washer on the Stud that is in the narrow end of the Hinge on the door
