I know you can get a kit to stop this badboy from leaking, but what is the name of the metal part in the picture?

Wrong Cush! You can buy a kit to slow that thing's leak. You cannot buy a kit to "stop" that thing from leaking.

Personally i think Matt's seal is much better then that ebay one. Just knock it in first and then a plain old oil seal and it shouldn't leak again.

It does. And it works.

I got a couple of these off Matt about 6 or 7 years ago, still going strong.
You need to use an ordinary seal too. The hard part is getting all the old ones out.
