Well ROO certainly gathered a fair bit of attention on the run up the Fraser Valley. I have never seen another quite like it - Aussie Mini Window Van with funky Sun Visor - on local roads. The only other BL Australia Mini Window Van (a '76 Bold as Brass ala ROO) that I know of on this side of the Big Pond is 140 miles to the south in Seattle, Washington, USA.
I brought the Seattle owner, Mark H., new wing mirror rubbers when I came home in 2011 after the One Lap and dropped them off on the way to Arizona in 2012. Hopefully we will have these Australian mates on the grass together at the Vancouver All British Field Meet in May.
As for driving on the right. It was surprisingly easy in the Mini, though it might be more difficult in a larger vehicle.
Here are Mark & I at the 2010 Vancouver ABFM with his Mini Window Van (I had bought ROO just 2 months before this):

I won't be converting to LHD in the near future. After I drive across Canada to Ontario, south to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Road course at Lexington, Ohio and back via Mini Meet in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in June/July, I may have a different opinion.
