Hi.
i have had a few dramas with the cheap electric fuel pumps and want some thing a little quieter and reliable. looking at the facet pumps what pressure should i be looking at getting? (im using twin su) do i need a regulator? there is quite a few types any to stay away from/ what would you recommend.

the facets will still give you the familiar ticking. pressure about 3 psi. regulator - optional

Personally I dont think you can go past a genuine SU electric pump.

I've had no probs with the square 3psi Facet ones, the one on my car has been there 20 yrs since I bought the car and it was s/h then.
I would not bother with a regulator unless using a higher pressure pump, and if you do, ffs fit a pressure gauge. Cheap regulators (some) have hopeless calibration.

Thats what i reckon as well , you can buy new parts for them from SU Midel , they are easy to repair ,
but more often than not , they just need a clean internally , they tend to gum up over time .

I sell Facet style fuel pumps which are suited for SU carbs. about 2.5 to 3 psi. I sell these for $50.00 posted. I also supply two rubber mounts with it for it FREE. these minimize the noise they make through the body.
