A lot of the (read most , or nearly all,,, or even maybe "All") the mini matics with 1098 came with 1&1/2 carbs tho :-)

sorry, just throwing that one in the ring for sh!tZ n giggles :-)

Matt all the `Matics were 998 not 1098, but you are right, they all got an HS4. So did the Morris 1100 automatic, and even the 850 `matic :shock: in UK.

The HS4 and higher C/R was good for about 4HP extra, it offset the power losses in the autobox.

Thanks Clovus but, one of those time where I trust an over seas person where I should not have. Dr yep at this stage I will be purchasing vis theses guys now just need to get in contact with them.

Gafmo finally got his Blinged up Mikuni a week or two ago, I had a squiz at it today. Verrrry nice... :)

I'm glad about that. The guy on his website seem genuine and had a run of some pretty serious personal disasters.
So looking forward to seeing how it runs. Hope it runs as well as it looks.

I had a drive of Gafmo's 1412 stroker van yesterday, still with the single HS6 on. It pulls like a schoolboy... as it should with 113ft/lb of torque.:)
His Mikuni is going on soon, we hope.
