hi Guys,
just wondering if the number stamping on the radiator support for the 1969 Mini Cooper S has the same size font and style from the first to last number?
ie is the YG2S4 the same size as the 5??? number stamped after?

thanks in advance

From memory they are usually two different sizes, depths and fonts.

just a pedantic point on that, if you have a car with YG2S4 and then 4 digits starting with a 5, then there's something dodgy going on, those numbers didn't go past 3000 (actually 2919 or something)

and my numbers are the same font I think

Thanks. I think that was the case for the first 6 months or so. I have seen a couple with Mk1 Body Plates but they have all looked too clean to be original. Probably the owners wanting to have a plate on there for looks.
