What width do they need to be to suit mini wheels, or does it even matter?

Do you measure across the rim or the sidewalls?

It needs to sit on the rim and not the sidewall for the best accuracy.

That photo is slightly skewed and will probably need redrawing.

Ok, so one does not fit all.

Do people trim them down to fit the edge of the rim's lip?

The one I used way back in 1982 was a sheet of alloy with a 90° fold of about 25mm.

If you make it suit a 10" wheel the blokes with 12's or 13's just need to slide it forward or back to touch both beads of the rim. It does not have to be centred on the rim, it just needs to be vertical.

Actually it would probably foul the centre of the wheel on an 1100 due to the offset.
It is very easy to make an attachment to make it work.

You need to put on "Cooper S" degree wheel so people will pay instead of making their own. Maybe you could also put on a final drive measure. Say on the back side a continuous arrow around the circumference to represent one drive shaft revolution.

This may be slightly off topic but still on the promotion and love of Ausmini.... Stickers !! not degree wheel stickers but the Ausmini Logo.
About 6 inch long i think. Id buy half a dozen, even put one on the fridge just to annoy the wife :) haha

I'm doing some plotting when I get a few moments to create a template which will be correct.

Its important given the role of the Camber/Castor gauge that I spend a few hours to get the geometry correct.
There's a little bit of trig, but its not too bad :)

Yeah I can have a few stickers made up. You're right, the logo is a pretty inspired piece of artwork :)
I've certainly seen worse artwork on a website...

I'll see what I can do. I'm not a fan of big square stickers. I'll see if something tricky can be done.

Mick

I'd be in for a few vinyl cut logos. Perhaps 3" would suit the mini rear window better...
