Has anyone fitted a remote box setup into a clubby van where a rod box was originally fitted? What issues were found and what was done to achieve a good fit?

you just need the remote mounting bracket, otherwise should fit up perfectly

Simon it has the late clubby floor, when they modded it for rodchange box they altered the front, the rack mount channel seems to be fouling the diff housing's remote flange. Has only ~3mm clearance there.

The square hole for the shifter needs to be enlarged rearwards, but that's not a problem.

Now the remote is in the car we can see that the problem is accumulation of tolerances in one direction, so that with the remote's mount sitting in the tunnel bracket, the engine steady is about 4mm too long.
With the steady off, the floor clears fine.
So, ! am halfway through converting the steady to be adjustable...

The tunnel bracket needs its mounting lugs moved forward, for the same reason; it won't go forward far enough with the aftermarket remote mount. Tomorrow's job....

Maybe the remote end mount is thicker (after market part) but we don't know what thickness an original mount was. I wonder if someone does know the original part thickness?
As usual a job expected to take a few hours turns out to be many more, however, it has to be done right.
