It's a stupid question, I know, but did anyone ever make an aftermarket single carb manifold to suit an HS2? Would be cool on an 850...

I'd think someone, somewhere would have made one. I'm sure maniflow could get get a steel one made up similar to the 1 1/2 ones they do

Minisport also do a 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 adapter bracket to use a common HS4 manifold

Looking at the brochures on http://mk1-performance-conversions.co.uk/ , Oselli looks to have done "gas flowed" original type manifolds. You could also expect some gains in separating the inlet and exhaust manifolds to avoid the heat transferring into the inlet...

I'd put a single HS4 on it. All the automatics got this, including 850 autos in UK. It's worth a couple of HP over an HS2.
It was done to offset power loss thru the autobox.

Lynx made one but I don't no if it suited hs4 as well I'd need to look on the van to confirm

I have a used alloy LYNX mini manifold that has can fit a HS2 or a HS4 or a HS6, it is for sale, PM if you are interested. cheers Caleb
