Great work on the 1220 Graham. :)
If this idea really takes off, we might need some new 1098 cranks.. they are all old and many have worn out or broken now.
How about some nice 8 counterweight billet ones like your 1275 race cranks? Or just Oz made billet 1098 copies? Could be done?

Hi All,
Here are some more photos that should have gone up before, showing more detail.
Aaron's Fault.

We have done more some more testing with a modified inlet port and an 1 3/4" SU. The results were very good.
These will all go up on the website, when Aaron gets his act together and types it all up....

Does it sit well in the engine bay? Any clearance problems for an airfilter?

Hi Mick
You have about 35mm clearance it seems to vary from car to car you can buy air cleaners that are about 25mm thick, but then again you could make a big flat one, and I think it's finer filter will make the foam to fit.

Hi Kennomini
Yes it can be all done to 998 with these 68mm pistons you will have to take .140 off the top of the block which is not a problem, you can if you want re drill the head studs holes a little deeper there is plenty of metal on the top of these blocks to do so, this takes the 998 out to 1107cc which makes it a little screamer, I am building one of these as well just give me a little time, and with the right cam and head 9000rpm will not be a problem. 8)
