I will have to go and check mine now.

How high are your revs in 4th at 100kph? My revs are 4500rpm at 100kph.

I don't have a tachometer hence the measurement method used to find out the ratio.
By calculation from a 3.44 diff providing 25.7 kph/1000rpm you get at 100 kph:-
2.9:1. 3280 rpm
3.1:1. 3506rpm
3.44:1. 3891 rpm
3.65:1. 4129 rpm
3.765:1 4259 rpm
4.13:1. 4672 rpm
I have only once done 100kph and the engine sounded like it was screaming so that's why I investigated what diff it had.

Looks like I may have a 4.1 diff as well. Starts getting noisy at 80kph.
But mine has other issues. The muffler looks like it has been burnt so maybe someone has taken to the baffles with a gas axe. Might download one of those noise meters and see what it is.

@ 100kmh (actual) GPS speed with my 3.647 diff and 10" A008s, I'm doing almost 4,400rpm.

I used the data for the 3.44 cooper diff in the Orange mini manual.
I then just calculated what the other ratios would come out at. It may not be perfect but should be very close.

Now we need to add the recommended BHP to pull each diff with say 10" control wheels :D

Out of curiosity, what is the maximum you would normally rev a relatively standard 1100 or 1275 to.
I'm wondering how close to running out of performance/revs those of us with low ratio diffs are ?

A standard 1098 will be out of puff by 5500rpm or earlier and around 6500 for a 1275.

A stock Cooper S or Oz GT will rev to 6500 (downhill in 4th), but a stock Morris 1100S or 1275LS motor will die in the bum long before that- over 5500 is a waste of time (in the gears).
