`Evans waterless coolant' is a popular one.
GR uses it in race engines, he swears by it. Motor and rad have to be empty, with NO water at all.

I still use ethylene glycol concentrate (usually Nulon) and I mix it 25%. I drain it every year or two, never had a problem.

Can you still get SQ36 concentrate. That's what we used in the dealership.

I'm a bit of a fan of Penrite 10/10ths.
This is a non Glycol based coolant (you are not allowed to use Glycol in a Superkart) so it is not slippery.
My Superkart was used every 4 to 6 weeks and was only drained every year, so possibly similar to usage to many mini users.
There were multiple materials in the cooling system, so galvanic corrosion can be a problem.
Whenever stripped down, all of the cooling system and engine waterways were in immaculate condition.
I'll admit I don't use it in my mini yet, but it is my intention to.

My dad used to use soluble oil in his cooper s when he had it in the 70s as coolant he's told me try it but I don't think you can get it no more

He also used to use baby oil in the su dash pots

Soluble oil is bad for the hoses. As we found on my dad's FE Holden back in the 50s or 60s.
