Finished installing all parts in MegaSquirt. Powers up OK, will try to test further tomorrow, (bit difficult as I don't have an Oscilloscope at the moment).

Got sick of not having an oscilloscope, so just ordered one from fleabay (local Melbourne dealer). Now I can get on with not only this project, but all the other projects that are just lying around.

you don't need an oscilloscope to make your megajolt work - you just wanted an excuse to buy one

got a link?
one of the places I work at have a lovely little 2 channel 12v tektronix I borrow

and yes, very likely to buy a o2 meter kit, looks like a good thing for the price
You've caught me out! No really I muck around with a lot of micro controllers, field programable grid arrays (FPGA's) and my latest interest is in a product from XMOS
http://www.xmos.com/. I used to have access to Tektronics CRO's from work, and in later years I have begged from a friend. Thing is when you need one you don't have it to hand so I just bit the bullet so to speak and bought this one: Rigol DS1052E
http://www.rigolna.com/products_ds1000d.aspx ($500)
Don't tell everyone, but two minutes later I updated/hacked it too the model above 100MHz; see

(Saved about $350!) My brother was so impressed with the unit, he bought one also.
The O2 meter is great, and will help me tune the MegaSquirt, as it will output the wideband info to the MS, which will help in the tunning of the volumetric efficiency (VE) tables.
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in my attempt to convert my car to TBI, maybe a progress report and pictures etc in a new thread:?:
I have gathered most of the things, just waiting for the injector adapter and other bits to be delivered this Monday.
So I guess you'd could call me a 52 year old geek!
