will do. is the primary gear shimmed because i found a broken shim in the clutch housing and if so what should the clearance be(any ideas on why it would break). and if not where did the thing cum from

There is a thrust washer behind the primary gear, of various thicknesses to adjust end float which should be .0035-.0065".
These things are fragile and do break if end float is excessive.

Also check for wear on the `C' washer at outer end of gear. Buy a new washer if you can.. :wink:

parts are on back order so nothin can be done for 5 to 6 weeks. but i added sum forged high lift rocker to it also.

When I ordered mine they were out of stock (as usual) it took 6 weeks to get them.

I hope they are available when I am there! I priced the gearbox kit as separate parts and it's well over double the price!

yea try that - they'll say no. They make the kit, they put it all together - yet they wont do it on a special order.
